This beautiful euro-style Hurley davit system lets you lift and pull your dinghy on for easy storage or just push off for launching. Easily mounted on the swim platform and can be installed while the vessel is in the water. The low profile storage position provide exceptional stern visibility with none of the performance-robbing kite flying drag.

Mount Sizes and Extensions
Multiple mount sizes to accommodate different size platforms - 6", 8", 10" mounts and 36" extension mounts. Choose the best size based on the depth of your swim platform. See the mount sizing tab above for more details on choosing the best mount size for your vessel and swim platform. See the pictures below of smaller mounts and 36" extension mounts.
The 6", 8", or 10" davit mount that connects to the base mounted on your swim platform.
The 36" extension mounts allows you to push teh davit system out further over the water if your swim platform is a shallow depth. It still offers quick release for easy storage when not in use. Covers for the base mounts also available.

To determine which mount system will work best for you, measure the outside beam (width) of your dinghy, then divide by 2 and add 4 inches. Now measure your platform depth (B below in picture) (transom of yacht to the outer end over the water). You must add a number to your platform depth figure in order to determine which mount to use. The platform depth figure must be equal to or greater than half the width of your dinghy width.

Example: If your dinghy width is 60", then divide by 2 + 4" = 34". If your swim platform depth is 32", by adding 2" to the platform depth this would make it equal to the dinghy width of 34" so then you would choose the 6" model. If your platfrom depth is 26", order at least the 8" mount (34"-26" from above example). Hint: it's the 6 inch model you need because 4 inches of the mount must be used to secure to the deck. Davit Systems require at least 3-points to tie the tender down. One at the bow, one at the stern and another over the inboard pontoon. More tie-downs can be added if needed!
