Setback Plates for Outboard Motors
Setback plates allow a boat's outboard motor to be mounted farther back off the transom. This gives the boat more space in the boat or engine well, often provides cleaner water to the prop for a more efficient ride, and they allow for vertical adjustment of your engine. The vertical adjustment allows you to find the optimal position for your outboard engine to maximize speed and efficiency.
